Real Estate & Renovation
Photography

HDR photography for realtors, contractors, and home improvement professionals in Burnaby, Vancouver, and the Lower Mainland — interiors, exteriors, and the details that win bids.

01 The Service

Photography that understands the work.

Great photography is the difference between a listing that gets showings and one that gets scrolled past — and between a renovation portfolio that wins bids and one that looks like every other contractor's camera roll.

Because I come from a construction and design background, I know which details sell the work: the reveal on a custom staircase, the tile layout in a finished bathroom, the light in a room that took three months to build. Not sure if it's worth it? I'll edit one of your project photos for free — so you can see the difference before committing.

02 Techniques

Most photographers shoot houses.
I shoot craftsmanship.

HDR interior photography — renovated kitchen, West Vancouver

HDR Interiors

Multiple bracketed exposures blended so windows aren't blown out and shadows aren't muddy — rooms look the way they feel in person, bright and true to colour.

Detail Shots That Win Bids

Matte black fixtures, mitred edges, custom millwork — the close-ups that prove quality to a homeowner comparing three quotes.

Exteriors & Curb Appeal

Shot at the right time of day, with attention to angles that make a property feel wider, taller, and worth the price.

Before-and-After Coverage

For renovators, I document projects in stages so your portfolio tells the full story — the single most persuasive content a contractor can publish.

04 Who I Work With

Two audiences,
one standard

Realtors

Listing photography that gets properties noticed on MLS, REW, and social feeds. Consistent style across your listings builds your personal brand as much as it sells each home.

Contractors & Renovators

Portfolio photography of finished projects — bathrooms, kitchens, custom builds, landscaping. Shot for your website, Google Business Profile, Instagram, and printed proposals.

05 FAQ

Frequently asked
questions

How much does real estate photography cost in Vancouver?

Most Vancouver listing shoots run $150–$400 depending on property size and photo count. I also offer renovation portfolio packages for contractors who want a full project documented.

What is HDR photography?

HDR (high dynamic range) blends several exposures of the same shot so bright windows and dark corners are both properly exposed. It's the standard for professional interior photography — and the biggest visible difference from phone photos.

How many photos do I get?

25–40 edited images for a typical listing; renovation projects vary by scope. We'll agree on the shot list before the shoot so there are no surprises.

Do you photograph occupied homes?

Yes. I'll flag anything worth tidying before we shoot, and minor distractions can be removed in editing.

Can you shoot my project while it's still in progress?

Absolutely — staged progress photography is some of the most effective content a renovator can post, and it pairs well with drone site-progress shots.
